2/14/2008, WAVA has just completed their first music video of the first single "Jamaica"  to be released to radio from their self titled album. Under the direction of Bill Reid and 13 time "Telly" Award winner Doc Holiday, the video will now be coupled with the album and released as a limited edition DVD and CD collectors item release and made available to the public for a limited time only. The album WAVA featuring the hot new band from Virginia (WAVA) is set to be released on XM radio Thursday night.
 
The RADAR REPORT is a special feature highlighting our most notable bands each week.  
XM RADiO will be featuring the music of WAVA (Thursday – February 28th 2008) on the RADAR REPORT at 10pm ET.

3/1/2008 A live in concert music video of WAVA at the NORVA has now been completed and available on YOU TUBE as well as this web site. This video was filmed and produced by Doc Holiday.
3/7/2008 The WAVA music video JAMAICA has been nominated for a "TELLY" Award for best independent music video. The music video was produced by Doc Holiday, Bill Reid, Jeffrey Breit and Kevin P. O'Keefe. If the video wins the award it will be Doc Holiday's 14th. TELLY Award for music videos.
3/12/2008 The WAVA Music video "JAMAICA" has been accepted by Canadian based television music show DIRT-TV, and will begin airing this month across Canada on STAR CHOICE SATELLITE (CH. 323),  EXPRESS-VU (CH. 258) and NOVUS-TV NETWORK (CH. 4)
3/12/2008  LOGGINS PROMOTIONS, Los Angeles, California, has conducted a radio test on the single "JAMAICA" to secondary radio stations in the USA and has now reported the highest response (4 stars "Strong Response") from 75 HOT AC/POP radio stations in 41 states. LOGGINS PROMOTIONS has now agreed to represent and assume radio promotion of the release "JAMAICA" in the USA starting on March 26, 2008
5/20/2008  WAVA is back at The Power Plant Studios under the direction of Multi award winner producer Doc Holiday recording another 12 new original songs while working on their LIVE concert shows for the summer of 2008
